I met my handsome fiancé on a social dating site! I decided to try online dating because the dating pool was becoming shallow and I wanted to explore my options. I came across his photo and saw that he "super liked" my profile which for some people can be considered creepy lol but I thought it was flattering. I was captivated by his smile and decided to swipe right and our profiles ended up matching. We spoke through the app for a little while, which progressed to a phone conversation, and then he finally asked me out on our first date. The date went well and he had a bouquet of flowers waiting for me in his car. I was kind of skeptical getting into a car with a stranger lol but I had a good feeling about him. On the ride home, we discovered that our fathers know each other and are longtime friends from Guyana! We discovered that we had many more things in common. From that first date, our relationship evolved. Fast forward to one year and two months later, my love proposed to me! He makes me happy and is the man God especially selected for me. I am looking forward to spending forever with him!
So our story began with a "swipe". When I saw Carena's picture on Tinder I HAD to SUPER LIKE her. We communicated via text and I decided that I just had to meet her. We had a really good 1st date, her smile lit up the evening and I could not stop staring into her eyes. As we spoke we found out that we both worked as registered nurses. We also found out that our fathers were from the same village in Guyana and were even childhood friends. We progressed and our love grew. Our relationship has not been without challenges, but GOD has kept us. I am so glad that I listened to my heart. I knew from our first  date that I wanted to marry this woman. Now I sit here months away from being the happiest man on the planet earth!
